MCNA's outreach teams engage in active member and community outreach year-round to improve our members' understanding of oral health and hygiene as well as to encourage them to schedule regular checkups. If your dental office plans to host or sponsor an event for children in the coming months, MCNA's Member Advocate team would love to take part in it! A representative from our experienced outreach team will come prepared to offer hands-on instruction, supported by an array of oral health educational flyers and fun games. Our goal is to collaborate with you in order to meet your event goals and contribute to its success.

Falling on April 16, this day comes at a time of the year when many are stressed about money and taxes, so the concept of stress management is a top priority. Some coping strategies include:

  • Creating a culture that promotes stress management, like taking meditation breaks or doing chair yoga with coworkers.
  • Managing schedules to set aside personal time during the week for things like exercise, reading, and connecting with friends and family.
  • Practicing mindfulness by focusing solely on the present moment and releasing anxiety about the future and the past.
