Enhanced Benefits for Medicaid Participants

Louisiana Medicaid health plans currently offer adult Medicaid participants enhanced benefits in the form of dental value-added services. These services can include exams, cleanings, filings, x-rays, and extractions and may be restricted by an annual cap. Enhanced benefits in the form of dental value-added services are covered by the participant's Medicaid medical health plan and should not be submitted as a claim to MCNA. MCNA does not reimburse dental providers for these services.
