Save the Date: 2019 Florida Dental Convention
The 2019 Florida Dental Convention will take place June 27 - 29 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando. All Florida Dental Association members are eligible to pre-register for the convention free of charge. This pre-registration period ends on June 14. Discounted group rates are available for room reservations at the Gaylord Palms as well as the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Using opioids to treat acute pain can lead to long-term use. According to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the likelihood of long-term use increases based on the length of the initial prescription, increasing sharply after the third and fifth days of taking a prescription and again at day 31.
