If your office uses NEA FastAttach to submit x-rays, charting, narratives, and any other documentation necessary for a pre-authorization request using MCNA's online Provider Portal, please ensure you enter the NEA number in the box marked "NEA FastAttach." Please do not include this number in the office remarks box. It may be overlooked and affect the processing of your pre-authorization request.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) continuously works to improve its Medicaid Program Integrity Education (MPIE) website. This site provides resources to educate providers, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders in promoting best practices and awareness of Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse. The MPIE website provides 24/7 access to the most current Medicaid education materials, including a Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Toolkit that addresses common types of Medicaid fraud and abuse. This toolkit is designed to help you learn to more easily recognize fraud and abuse and know how to report and prevent them.
