Important Reminder: Deadline for Texas Medicaid Re-enrollment
As the result of a new federal regulation, all Texas Medicaid providers must periodically revalidate their enrollment in the Medicaid program. Documentation Requirements for CDT code D9248 - Non-Intravenous Conscious Sedation
The safety of our members is of paramount importance when administering non-intravenous conscious sedation as a part of treatment. As a reminder, any provider using non-intravenous conscious sedation must maintain a current permit to do so. When using CDT code D9248, TAC RULE §110.5 requires documentation in the form of a written, time-oriented anesthetic record be maintained.
