Texas Medicaid invited managed care organizations and dental maintenance organizations to integrate with the YourTexasBenefitsCard (YTBC) provider portal and access Medicaid eligibility and available health information with a single click. Superior and MCNA are participating and providers can view their Medicaid patients' information directly through the YTBC link on their MCO's and DMO's portals. The integration reduces the burden on the organizations to implement this functionality themselves, while cost effectively improving access to information across the Medicaid healthcare continuum to promote more effective monitoring of services rendered and improve the overall quality of care.
