Electronic Funds Transfer: A Timesaving Cash Management Tool

At MCNA, we continually evaluate our services to ensure that we provide you with the best tools to help you effectively manage your practice. We are pleased to be able to offer you electronic funds transfer (EFT) as a convenient way to save time and hassle when it comes to cash management in your office.

EFTs allow MCNA to complete the payment of your claims by electronically depositing funds directly into the bank account you designate instead of sending paper checks. Whenever MCNA completes an EFT transaction into your bank account, you will receive an email confirmation as well as an electronic copy of your Remittance Advice (RA) at the email address you provide.

The American Dental Association (ADA) is offering resources that may help your office comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) amalgam separator final rule that went into effect July 14, 2017. The compliance date for the rule is July 14, 2020. On that date, most dental offices that place or remove amalgam must be compliant with all provisions of the rule.

Refer to the ADA's best management practices regarding amalgam separators and waste management for guidance about best practices within your office. For more information about the final rule, including the provider types that are exempt, please visit the ADA's website.
