Texas defines a Main Dental Home (MDH) as the dental provider that supports an ongoing relationship with the client that includes all aspects of oral health care delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way. A member can see his or her MDH Provider, or main dentist, at any location in which the provider is credentialed with MCNA.

A member can also see any MCNA-credentialed provider in the same "brick and mortar" facility in which his or her main dentist practices without changing the main dentist assignment.
