MCNA's Green Initiative for 2017
MCNA's Green Initiative for 2017

MCNA is committed to being a responsible "green" company by offering our network providers solutions and technology-based innovations that help to streamline administrative processes and reduce the overall amount of waste generated.

Beginning June 1, 2017, MCNA will switch to electronic-only Remittance Advice (RA) documents that will be available to all providers through MCNA's Provider Portal. We will no longer mail paper RAs to your office. You may easily search for, view, save, and print your RAs from your Provider Portal account. All MCNA network providers have access to our free Provider Portal. If you have not already done so, please visit http://portal.mcna.net and click on "Register a New Account" to start using your Provider Portal account today.

We also recommend that you sign up for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) with us for faster payment of your claims. Please note, this is not required. After June 1, 2017, you will still be able to receive payments in the form of a paper check mailed to your office.

If you are unable to access MCNA's Provider Portal and need a paper copy of an RA, you can get one by calling our Provider Hotline at 1-855-776-6262 (8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Central Time, Monday through Friday). Our Representatives can produce the document upon request and send it to your office. Please click here to view the informational flyer announcing this upcoming change.

YourTexasBenefitsCard Portal Integration Pilot
YourTexasBenefitsCard Portal Integration Pilot

Effective June 5, 2017, Texas Medicaid will be conducting a pilot to integrate the YourTexasBenefitsCard.com (YTBC) provider portal with the MCNA Provider Portal. Other managed care organizations (MCOs) and dental maintenance organizations (DMOs) are also participating in this pilot. The integration is not intended to replace functions that already exist in the current MCO/DMO portals, but rather to expand the functionality that the MCNA Provider Portal provides by making the YTBC portal accessible through a single click.

What are the benefits?

Accessing the YTBC portal allows providers and their staff to view a Medicaid patient's health information, along with other important information, regardless of what plan the patient has been in, including managed care or traditional fee-for-service (FFS). It also provides a centralized tool to manage the sharing of patient consent and reduces duplicative services all while ...
