The Provider Relations Team has recently identified a trend of unused pre-authorizations amongst our network of participating provider offices. We encourage all providers to be proactive and check MCNA's Provider Portal regularly for approved pre-authorizations. MCNA also recommends routinely checking on your recall process to ensure that members with active, approved pre-authorizations on file are contacted in a timely manner so they can receive the care and services they need.
