National Brush Day is celebrated the day after Halloween, when many children get an abundance of sweets during trick-or-treating, to encourage parents and children to remember good oral hygiene habits at all times, even after indulging in sweet treats. This observance promotes brushing for two minutes, twice a day at home to fight against tooth decay. National Brush Day is part of the Kids' Healthy Mouths campaign launched by The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives and the Ad Council in 2012. You can find a library of helpful resources to encourage good daily oral hygiene habits on the 2min2x website at http://2min2x.org/helpful-resources/index.html.
