MCNA strongly encourages our members to keep their oral health in tip-top shape through prevention and professional oral health care from quality providers like your office. In support of our goals, we have created a clear strategy for active and ongoing member outreach and education that helps to ensure that our members understand the importance of regular preventive dental care. We also leverage our partnerships with social and civic groups, public health entities, resident associations, faith-based, and other community-based organizations to better understand our members' oral healthcare needs and target outreach within the communities we serve.

Oral Health Education Videos for Children

MCNA produces custom educational videos that are a fun and engaging way to learn about good oral health! Our newest video, the Plight of Plaque, is available to view on MCNA's Kids Zone. This adventure introduces MCNA's Smile Squad, a team of dental superheroes who save the day from disease and decay. Watch it at https://kids.mcna.net/videos/ and share it with your patients!

Oral Health Flyers

Our Quality Improvement Team has developed a library of targeted oral health educational flyers about topics relevant to our members' oral health needs. They are written in plain language and translated into prevalent languages to ensure ease of understanding.

Social Media

We use Facebook and Twitter to reach our members and providers with colorful graphics depicting oral health facts, information, and hygiene tips to promote awareness of the importance of good oral health. We also maintain a dedicated YouTube channel for our member and provider videos.

Member Newsletters

We produce and publish member newsletters designed around seasonal topics related to our program and oral health. Our "Tooth Tribune" is distributed via social media and provides members with up-to-date information on maintaining good oral hygiene and health.
